Another Pair of Socks!

Sue gave me a bunch of yarn to make her some socks.

Some of it has already been used up into socks. Some of it I was suppose to rewind just because, but I think I'm going to make shorties out of the top two orange/brown balls. Maybe even the tan balls. We will see how it goes.

I've finished a green pair for Helena (Sue's yarn) that were quick and easy. I often make short socks because they go so much quicker and sock recipients appreciate short or long socks.

And a pink pair (Sue's yarn, again):

Once or twice a year I get together with my sisters for a day of shopping and lunch. This time we met at the Olive Garden!  I highly recommend it for their soup, salad and bread sticks lunch combo that is cost effective.

And a grey pair for Sue. Again, I didn't make them very tall and I use four size 5 or size 6 needles worked from the top down. Sooo quick!

Using every minute! Even at the lodge waiting for our food!

Another pair of gray socks! I'm losing track. (These are actually a very light blue and are Lucas's. No wonder i was losing track of all the grey socks!)

But these are really truly grey and were made for Sue!

A pair for Leo:

A pair for Layla:

And a pair for Enzo in a ball ready to knit, and a blue skein for a pair for Lucas. All this yarn I got a quilt show! Someone was getting rid of yarn and I snatched as much as I dared! How about 25 cents a skein?

I have a surprise for Sue! Some of the yarn she off-handed to me to rewind she had no intention of wanting a pair of socks from it but it's perfectly suited for it. So off I go!
