Green Socks

Image
In-between working on my projects I try to fit in some for my sisters. Sue wanted socks for all her granddaughters so she gave me a bag of wool-ease (she said) yarn.  I'm thinking I could maybe fit in making one pair but the others had to wait.  Apparently Helena's favorite color is green and she has small feet. I did keep the leftovers. For my stash. Cast on 40 on size #6 needles.

Busy Hands

Since I can only do one granny square a day for my temperature afghan I've decided to keep my hands busy by  starting on another afghan. This time it's circles with the last round making a square. The colors are beautiful and I'm really liking how it's turning out. I prefer working with wool but that gets expensive especially with so much yarn needed! I'm using 100% acrylic and it's very soft. "I Love This Yarn" super soft in "Sunset" (4 balls) and "Linen" (three balls)
